<B>Franklin D. Roosevelt: 1940 Re-Elect Roosevelt Vote American Labor Row “C”.</B></I> Two words sum up this 1940 poster: simply magnificent. It is certainly one of the three or four best Roosevelt campaign posters. It is matted by a black or very dark blue mat. The poster itself measures 21” x 28”. It compares 1932 under Hoover with people in breadlines, out of their homes, and with banks closed against 1940 under Roosevelt with high wages, affordable housing and social security as a safety net for senior Americans. The overall condition is excellent. There are a few light creases or wrinkles from storage over the years, but no fold lines, holes or paper tears. The orange and blue tones really jump out at you. This is a poster where the demand is certainly greater than the supply.
