FDE IWI ISRAEL RIFLE.
Cal. 5.56x45. S# T0007313. Bbl. 16 1/2". The Tavor SAR is a 5.56x45 MM battle proven, Bullpup style rifle mfg. originally for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Since its initial introduction to the US market in 2014 it has been wildly popular. It utilizes a rotating bolt, long stoke piston mechanism & feeds from standard M16 family magazines. This example is a flat dark earth (FDE) SAR Flat Top, which incorporates a 14” picatinny rail as a sight mounting point in addition to a 6” rail located opposite the charging handle at a 45° angle. The Tavor utilizes an ingenious sight mechanism composed of a front blade w/ a tritium insert & corresponding rear sight that fold in to the rail system when using optics. Currently mounted is an EOTech L3 holographic weapon sight in front of an EOTech flip down magnifier both on QD mounts. The 1:7, 5.56 NATO hammer forged chrome lined bbl. is terminated w/ a threaded muzzle & A2 style flash hider & is currently configured for right hand use. On the 45° angled rail is an aftermarket laser & light combination. MAGS: 1 tan 30 rd. PMAG. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: IWI cleaning kit in factory pouch. Tavor SAR owners manual & EOTech operators manual. Brown leather sling w/ QD sockets. CONDITION: while the FDE chassis exhibits some light staining which is earned quickly. No significant wear apparent on any parts. EOTech sight & magnifier appear to work correctly as does laser/ light combination. Bore is shiny w/ strong rifling & fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (21-1516/JZ). MODERN. $900-1,400.
