(1670-75) FARTH St. Patrick Farthing VG10 PCGS. Breen-217, which he considered "very rare." This Breen variety has an annulet, a small 8, and a martlet below the king. A martlet is a heraldic bird without feet. The brass splasher is mostly southeast of the crown. This chocolate-brown representative has well outlined types. The church is particularly sharp, as is FLOREAT. A few letters in the peripheral legends are faint. A few flecks of aqua debris are present near the waist of the harp angel. Careful inspection locates a few moderate obverse marks near 3 o'clock. Listed on page 39 of the 2008 Guide Book; however, all reported prices are for common varieties. This Breen variety did not appear in the offering of colonials from the John J. Ford Collection.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
