(1930) A beautiful brass ship's steam whistle with hardware. Salvaged from the infamous "La Janelle" passenger ship, which sank off Port Hueneme, CA in 1970. The deco era steam ship eventually served in WWII and was returned to passenger service in the Caribbean and Pacific until she ran aground in 1970. Bob and LeRoy were able to salvage a good deal of decor and hardware from the wreck. A single note whistle with shut-off valves and pigtail handle to blow the whistle. Some parts may be replacements. 10"x3". VG+ with typical wear.
