F. Scott Fitzgerald: Signed Tender is the Night (New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1934), second printing, 408 pages, dark blue-green boards with gilt spine titles, 12mo (5.25" x 7.5"), facsimile dust jacket. Inscribed and signed "For Eylen Evelyn Conway from her friend F Scott Fitzgerald" on the front free endpaper. Evelyn Conway was a Broadway actress during the Roaring Twenties, and a friend of the famous author. Tender is the Night was the last novel published in Fitzgerald's lifetime, and is generally regarded as his most tragic novel, echoing his own life at the time it was written. The book is in very good condition, with some toning to the textblock edges, minor shelf wear, and a mild abrasion to the front inner hinge.

Shipping: Books & Catalogs (view shipping information)
