<B>F. Scott Fitzgerald Autograph Note Signed</B></I> “<I>F. Scott Fitzgerald,</B></I>” one page, 7.25" x 5". In full, “<I>Dear Mr. Milkman:/I am/Very Sincerely Yours.</B></I>” Three small pieces of mounting tape have been removed from the verso at three corners resulting in a thinning of the paper which shows through especially in a blank area at the lower right of the signature and behind "<I>Dear M</B></I>" in the salutation. Two vertical folds, one passing through the "<I>tt</B></I>" of the signature. There is a tear at the upper edge near the right fold. Light pencil notations in unknown hand in lower left blank area. Proper matting would visually eliminate the defects. Overall, in fine condition. Novelist and short story writer F. Scott Fitzgerald, regarded as one of the greatest authors of the 20th century, was only 44 when he died in 1940. His works include <I>This Side of Paradise,</B></I> <I>The Great Gatsby,</B></I> and <I>Tender is the Night.</B></I> <I>Ex. Henry E.
