These are curiosities and the subject of ongoing research with physical and chemical tests conducted recently. They are prized as commemorative gold antiques. This particular piece has the Hoard circular imprint at the top of the front followed by No. 2172 / 9.19 OZS / 999 THOUS / FINE.
