Haxby-Not listed. No plate letter. This is the first we have seen of this exceedingly rare major design type. Bold Black Proof Printing on clean India paper and mounted on the standard archive page card. Vignette design at the upper left of a hunched Winged Eagle with the title to the right and Obligations across bottom center. The end panels are identical in style and are facing each other with Cameo Portrait profile corners and a Medallic Bemjamin Franklin image at center. Full printed Stub is intact, being located at the far left end. Extremely Rare.

An banknote issuer that should have a bank number in Haxby, an “Underwood, Bald, Spencer & Hufty” Proof note with all of the structure and obligations of a standard Obsolete Banknote.
