Extremely Rare Nazi Occupation Norwegian Model 1894 Krag Jorgensen Bolt Action Rifle
This is an example of an extremely rare Model 1894 Norwegian Krag rifle manufactured under Nazi occupation in 1944. The left side of the receiver is marked "24" and the top of the receiver ring is marked "Nb 1944-424" followed by an "eagle/WaA8" and Nazi firing proof. The only other visible marking on the rifle is an "eagle / WaA84 / 424" on the bolt handle. The rifle is equipped with a bayonet lug, blade front sight and tangent rear sight graduated to 2200 meters. Mounted with a full one piece pistol grip stock with matching handguard, flat steel buttplate and an original cross hatch brown leather sling. The left side of the stock is stamped "424" at the receiver.

Condition: Very fine. The rifle retains 90% slightly thin original phosphate finish with scattered thinning and areas of smooth gray and brown patina. The magazine shows high edge wear. The stock is fine with numerous small dents and dings along the forearm and scattered minor dents on the buttstock. The sling is good showing moderate wear and the leather remains supple. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
