British India, 1883, Queen Victoria, 2 Rupees 8 Annas, IPN (Indian Postal Notes) Overprint, Quarter Sheet of 80 stamps with 3 side white border with print as “320 ˑ STAMPS = 240 ˑ RUPEES | HALF ˑ SHEET ˑ CONTAINING | ONE QUARTER SHEET CONTAINING 80 STAMPS – SIXTY RUPEES”, MNH, good condition, Extremely Rare.Note: Three denominations of Indian Postal Notes, overprinted with "I.P.N." on East India 8 Annas and 1 Rupee, and the 1/12th Anna surcharged to Rupees 2 Annas 8, were issued on January 1, 1883. These postal notes were later withdrawn in 1885, making them exceptionally rare.
