Bangash Nawabs, Nawab Ahmed Khan Bangash (AH 1164-1185/1750-1771 AD), Ahmadnagar Farukhabad Mint, Gold Mohur, AH 117(0)/3RY, Broad Flan, In the name of Alamgir II, Obv: Persian legend ‘Sikka Mubarak Badshah Ghazi Alamgir’ with Hijri year 117(0), Rev: Persian legend ‘sana 3 julus’ & zarb ‘Ahmadnagar Farukhabad’ completely visible at the bottom, (Variant of KM # 8, date is unlisted for the type), original superb lustre, sharply struck, UNC, Extremely Rare.
Note: The gold mohur of Nawab Ahmed Khan Bangash, minted in the name of Mughal ruler Alamgir II at Ahmednagar Farrukhabad mint, is rare to find. The date on this coin unlisted in the KM catalogue. We have not offered this in the past.
