This is an example of a U.S. Model 1911A1 pistol that was made into a match pistol by Rock Island Arsenal for the 1967 matches at Camp Perry, Ohio. Standard markings and features with ordnance wheel symbol of accept on right frame. "RIA" marked on right frame after the serial number. Blade front sight and an adjustable Elliason rear sight. National Match barrel (serialized to frame), solid bushing, serrated slide catch, trigger, safety, hammer and arched mainspring housing. The grips are checkered hardwood. Comes with two boxes, two extra matching serialized magazines, a cleaning rod and original receipt papers.
