Fine as period custom built and partially refinished (the action and lock). The custom barrel has a smooth brown patina. The action retains 40% case colors in protected areas with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The lock shows much of the bright case colors mixed with a smooth mottled gray patina. The hammer has a smooth brown patina and the lever shows much of the faded case colors with a smooth silver gray on the balance. The wood is very good with some scattered minor dents and handling marks. The carving remains sharp and the checkering is crisp. The silver insets have an aged patina. The action is fine.
