Extra-large size salon pistol circa about 1870 to 1890 with flobert style single shot rolling block action, finely fluted barrel, set trigger, nicely executed gold inlaid lines and borders on breech, tang, trigger guard and butt. The pistol measures approximately 17” overall with 10” barrel and approximately 8mm center-fire with rifled barrel or about .32 short. The barrel retains approximately 50% to 70% original blue with some light rust and erosion that may clean. The stock remains in good to very good condition with crisp checkering and just some normal aging, small scratches and slight wear. The action is tight and the edges are sharp and generally good to very good overall. Est.: $1,400 -$2,800.
