Number 110 for 521 shares to William Eiterman. Signed by MP Butterfield and FB Huffman. Incorporated in Burlington, Iowa. Choice with no apparent condition issues. "The Helvetia mining district is in the northern Santa Rita Mountains, Pima County, 28 miles southeast of Tucson, Ariz. Ore was probably discovered in the Helvetia district before the Civil War, but no records are available on the earliest discoveries. The Old Frijole mine, reported to be the oldest in the district, was opened in 1880 and operated for several years. In the early eighties the ore from the district was treated at the Columbia smelter, located on the westside of the Santa Rita Mountains near the Old Tiptop campsite. This smelter was succeeded in 1884 or 1885 by the Mohawk smelter, owned and operated by the Rosemont Mining and Smelting Co., which mined from workings near the Rosemont camp on the est slope of the Santa Rita Mountains."
