<B>Exposition and Commemorative Medal Group Lot.</B></I> An outstanding group of four medals featuring: a piece issued for the World Columbian Fair of 1893, listed in the Eglit catalog as # 55, choice chocolate-brown with prooflike fields, 50 mm; a 57-mm 1892 World's Columbian Exposition medal, struck in white metal by Boldenweck & Co., which is the larger version of HK-157; a piece struck for the Lewis and Clark Centennial Exposition held in Portland, Oregon, in 1905, awarded to Gertrude Willison for miniature painting, about 63 mm, bronze; and a copper medal commemorating the 300th anniversary of the landing of the Pilgrims at Plymouth in 1620, in very high relief, 70 mm, from dies by Reed and Barton.
