Exhibition quality deep relief scroll engraved and chiseled single action pin fire pistol by Lefaucheux of Paris with original bright metal or satin finish with raised carved ebony grips and in its original French style fitted Rosewood case. This 11 mm single action pin fire shows a 6 shot cylinder and measures 12 ½” overall with 6 ¼” barrel. The barrel is signed in deep relief engraved and chiseled letters surrounded byfine florals and decorative scroll motifs. The grip is carved ebony in a matching floral design to the embellishment on the pistol. The condition is fine to excellent with very sharp surfaces and crisp edges. The rightside of the frame shows an L F proof and the number 3550 with the front of the frame showing a number 1. The fitted case is in very good plus to near fine condition with some slight fading and gold embossed makersname in lid. The case contains mold and tools along with a small quantity of pin fire shells. The exterior of the case is veneered Rosewood with brass furniture and remains in very good plus to near fine condition. The
