The top of the receiver is marked "945/1941" for the wartime code for the Bruno factory along with the year of manufacture. The serial number "2" is stamped on the left side of the receiver ring with a single WaA623 Waffenamt on the right side. The top of the hand guard is stamped "dot" also the wartime time for the Bruno factory. The stock is a standard G33/40 version that is ink or pencil marked inside the barrel channel with " 6.27.41.PH" along with the penciled number "2" and the stamped number "2". The underside of the laminated stock has the standard "dot" and Waffenamt proofs along with a stamped number "2", and it has the regular cupped metal butt plate with the protector plate on the left side. It has a standard G33/40 bolt that is also stamped with a single number "2" on the back side of the handle while the cocking piece and bolt shroud are all unnumbered.
