This is an excellent example of an original DWM Model 1906 issue type Navy. The chamber is blank with the script "DWM" logo on the front toggle. The left side of the barrel extension is marked with the double "Crown/M" Navy proofs next to a single "Crown" proof. The left side of the barrel and underside of the barrel is stamped with a single "Crown" and single "Crown/M" acceptance proof respectively, with a single crown proof on the left side of the breechblock . It has the military style numbering with the full number (9319) on the major parts (frame and barrel only) and the partial number "19" on the various smaller components. It has the standard "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" marked safety and extractor areas. These Navy Lugers have a standard front sight with a unique two-position Navy rear sight graduated/marked "100" and "200". It is complete with one matching Navy magazine with the nickel plated magazine body and the wooden base that has the correct concentric circles on the sides, and numbered "9391".

Condition: Excellent with 95% of the original blue finish overall with wear on the edges and high spots, overall. The grips are also in excellent condition with nice original checkering, showing minor handling marks and a couple of light pressure dents on the upper right side. The various small parts retain 60% of their original straw colors overall. You will look a long time to find a better, more original example of a DWM 1906 Second type Navy!
