Originally shipped to the Naval Supply Depot of Norfolk, VA on 5 July 1945. Blade front and adjustable rear sights, with the two line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide next to the Rampant Colt and model markings on the right. "G.H.D." inspected frame, with "R/ VP" and "90" on the trigger guard, and "UNTIED STATES PROPERTY" on the right over the serial number. Fitted with a thin checkered hammer, stamped trigger, arched serrated mainspring housing and reinforced Coltwood grips. With a brown shipping box hand numbered to gun and an instruction sheet/ parts list.
