Exceptional World War II Nazi Mauser 41/42 Code Luger Pistol Rig with Two Magazines and Extraordinary Brown Leather Holster

This is an excellent and rare Mauser "41/42 code" Nazi Luger, that was produced in 1941. The chamber dated "41" with the "42" code on the front toggle. The right side of the barrel extension has the early double "Eagle/ 655" proofs and the single "Eagle/Swastika" firing proof, with both proofmarks also on the top rear section of the barrel. The left side of breechblock is also marked with "Eagle and Swastika" firing/acceptance proof. The safety and extractor are correctly marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively. This early war luger is complete with two late war magazines that are marked on the sides: "Fxo/Eagle 37/P08" and both have the unmarked back plastic, pinned bases. This fine example is fitted with a set of checkered walnut grips that are only marked "64" on the back sides. It is complete with a tan leather holster that is marked on the back: "KIMNACH U BRUNN/KAISERSLAUTERN", Eagle/WaA416, with an unmarked takedown tool.

Excellent plus with 99% of the original blue finish overall with light edge and high spot wear. The markings and proofs are all clear and sharp. The walnut grips are also in excellent plus condition with nice distinct checkering on both side with light wear across the tops of the checkering. The holster is in excellent condition with an attractive light brown color, showing minor handling marks and scratches in a few areas, with some heavier scuffing on the corners of the flap. The stitching is tight and the markings are clear and distinct. This highly desirable 41/42 Code P.08 Luger rig has all matching numbers, except the magazines as noted above.
