Exceptional Walther Model 8 Semi-Automatic Pistol with Rare D.R.G.M. Holster
Manufactured from 1920 to 1944, this is a nice example of a scarce pre-war Model 8 pistol. The pistol serial number is located on the right side of the frame behind the grip, the left side of the slide is marked "Walther's Patent Mod. 8" above the Walther Banner. The right side of the slide is marked "Waffenfabrik Walther Zella-Mehlis (Thur.)". There is a "crown/N" proof on the right side of the slide and frame, and the barrel at the muzzle. Fitted with two piece checkered hard rubber grips with the brass and blue enamel inlays, script "CW" on the left and "6.35" on the right. Complete with a rare Deutsches Reich Gebrauchsmuster or German Reich Registered Design marked brown leather holster ("D.R.G.M." is stamped on the front under the closure strap).

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 98% plus original blue finish with a faint plum patina on the slide and some very light edge wear. The grips are also excellent with a few minor handling marks. The checkering is crisp. The holster is fine with some minor flex wear. The stitching is tight.
