Manufactured in 1937. The left side of the slide is marked with the two line address/1897 to 1913 patent dates with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, the right side "COLT (ACE in a diamond) 22 LONG / RIFLE" and the serial number is marked on the right side of the frame. Half moon blade front and adjustable rear sights, checkered trigger, mainspring housing, hammer spur, slide catch, magazine release and thumb safety. Fitted with checkered walnut grips and a two tone magazine with the standard Colt Ace caliber marking on the base. Complete with a black hinged lid box numbered to the gun, manual, "shooting Suggestion" pamphlet, rear sight caution hanging tag, test target, two screwdrivers and cleaning brush.

Condition: Excellent plus. The pistol retains 99% plus, bright original blue finish with some very slight high edge wear and wear on the left side of the trigger from normal use. The grips are also excellent with some very minor handling marks and sharp checkering. Clear markings. Mechanically excellent. The box is fair with two separated corners on the lid, one side of the body partially bent and some of the outer paper peeling.
