These rifles were the final version of the German Armys attempt to field a successful semi-automatic rifle during WWII and was based on the earlier G41 series and the Russian Tokarev rifle's gas system. The receiver markings are "Eagle/ 214" Waffenamt proof, serial number, "K. 43, qve 45 (the war time code for Berlin-Lubecker)". The rifle is equipped with a ZF4 scope with leather lens caps and marked "GW ZF 4 dow triangle / 23719" and the rare original BLM mount is marked with an eagle proof and "1300". The locking lever is correctly marked "fest" and "lose". The rifle was manufactured with the single bolt guide, bolt carrier latch on the right side, hollow cocking knob, (left side), right side mounting rail, unthreaded muzzle and an "aye" code magazine. Raised ramp front sight and military tangent rear sight graduated from 100-1200 meters. The stock is the correct pistol grip type with a handguard, cleaning rod, steel cupped buttplate with compartment containing a cleaning kit, brown leather sling, booklet, spare parts and oiler. Directly below the scope mount, the stock is marked "7F K 43". The bolt cover is marked with the matching serial number.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains 97% plus original blue finish with wear limited to the receiver sides from cycling the action. The stock is excellent with only a few minor handling marks. The scope is fine with the exception of a slight haze in the optics. The sling is excellent. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. An excellent late war Berlin-Lubecker produced BLM/qve45 K43 sniper rifle.
