This is an exceptional example of an early WWII Model 1903 rifle manufactured by Remington. The barrel is marked "RA / ordnance bomb / 12-41", the left side of the front sight cover is marked "ordnance bomb / U.S." and the receiver ring is marked "U.S. / REMINGTON / MODEL 1903 / 3028491". The left side of the stock is stamped with the crossed cannon and boxed "RLB" cartouches and there is a circled "P" behind the trigger guard. In addition the right rear of the stock is stamped "N broad arrow Z / 10251" over struck out "7901". Ahead of the floor plate are four geometrically shaped Remington sub-inspectors marks.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains 99% of the original parkerized finish. The bolt and bolt handle show thinning from normal usage. The stock and handguard are both excellent with some scattered minor dings and scratches. All markings on the rifle and stock are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
