Excellent World War II "41" Dated "byf" Code Nazi Luger Rig with Two Magazines and Black Pigskin Leather Holster

This is an excellent late 1941 Mauser Luger pistol that was produced towards the end of regular Nazi Army production. This has the "41" dated chamber area with the toggle marked with "byf", the wartime code for the Mauser factory. The right side of the barrel extension has single eagle firing proof. It is numbered in the military fashion with the full serial number (604) stamped on the front of the frame, the left side of the barrel extension and the underside of the barrel. With the last two digits of the serial number (04) stamped on the various small parts. This example is fitted with the late war black plastic unmarked or proofed grips. It has standard sights, standard safety/extractor markings and is complete with two, late war magazines. The magazine bodies are marked: "fxo/Eagle 37/P08" and both have the unmarked black plastic bases with no numbers or proofs. These late Mauser production Lugers have an all salt blued finish which is very dark in color, with the late "P08" frame markings on the left side. This pistol is complete with a black leather holster marked on the back "bdq/41" with no other markings or proofs. It is complete with a WWII take down tool.

Excellent plus with 99% of the original wartime blue/black finish overall with only a hint of edge and high spot wear. The grips are also in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. The holster is also in excellent condition with a nice even black color overall with tight stitching and clear sharp markings on the back with only minor wear or scratches on the front flap.
