This is a nice example of a late 1918 DWM Luger rig, that was manufactured at the end of WWI. It has the standard 1918 dated chamber area with the "DWM" monogram on the front toggle. The right side of the barrel extension has the standard three "Crown/Gothic" letter proofs next to the Imperial Eagle firing proof, which is also repeated on the right side of the barrel and breechblock. It has standard markings overall and is fitted with a set of checkered walnut grips. It is complete with two nickel plated wooden base magazines that are marked "6948/l/ and 6948/l/+" respectively. It is complete a 1918 dated brown leather holster marked inside the flap with an unreadable makers name over 1918, along with an in the white takedown tool.

Excellent with 99% of the original blue finish showing just a hint of wear on the edges of the side plate and muzzle. The various small parts retains 80% of their original straw colors overall. Mechanically excellent. The holster is in very fine condition with a nice original light brown color overall with clear markings in the flap showing only minor scratches on the lower areas of the holster.
