Excellent Winchester Model 1907 Self Loading Rifle with Nebraska Safety Patrol Markings
Made in 1946. Partridge blade front and adjustable sporting rear sights, with standard markings on the barrel and receiver tang, with "NO. 30" engraved on the left side of the receiver. Smooth straight grip stock, with metal forearm tip, serrated buttplate and "NEBRASKA SAFETY PATROL" stamped into the left side of the buttstock. Established in 1937 and currently known as the State Patrol, the Nebraska Safety Patrol was formed for safety and law enforcement on the state's highways, and is now the sole state level police agency in Nebraska. The rifle is equipped with a 10 round magazine.

Condition: Excellent, with 95% of the original blue finish, showing a brown patina on the forearm tip and scattered small patches of gray patina and pitting. The wood is very good, with some pressure dents and minor scratches. Crisp and clear markings. Mechanically excellent.
