Excellent. The barrel retains 95% of the original bright blue finish with some minor wear and very minor pitting on the muzzle and a few minor scratches. The receiver retains 90% blue with the balance a smooth plum patina mixed with streaks of original blue and high edge wear. The bolt retains 70% bright original finish with large areas flaked to a smooth brown patina. The magazine retains 80% original finish with loss due to cycling the action and the lever retains approximately 75% original finish with the balance a smooth dark patina. The wood is excellent with a few overall scattered minor dents and dings. The markings are sharp and clear. The action is excellent.
