According to the included factory letter, this rifle arrived at the warehouse 18 March 1910 and shipped the next day, with the following configuration: 25/20 caliber, 28 inch octagon #2 barrel, single set trigger, Lyman #17 target front sight and a Lyman combination rear sight with #2 cup disc. Two line address and patent markings, along with "25-20 S.S.", are present on the upper left barrel flat, with "2" ahead of the forearm and the serial number behind the single set trigger. A Winchester A5 scope has been installed on the barrel. Smooth straight wrist stock, with an ebony forearm tip insert and a smooth buttplate.

Condition: Excellent, with 97% of the original blue finish with a patch of brown patina on upper right receiver, showing minor scratching, edge wear and handling marks overall. The scope is a later addition, with hazy optics and mild tube wear. Buttstock is excellent, forearm very fine with a tiny crack on the right side and scattered dings. Mechanically excellent.
