Excellent Walther PP Pistol with Rare NSKK Slide Markings
This is a super rare example of a very late production, NSKK marked Walther PP in 7.65mm. These pistols were issued to officers in the National Socialist Transport Corps, (National Sozialistisches Kraftfahr Korps). The left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner, followed by the two line address and caliber markings, "Mod.PP", and the NSKK markings that consist of the "NSKK" Banner on top of a German spread-wing eagle holding a swastika. The right side of the barrel and the frame under the ejection port are marked with Eagle "N" proofs, and the serial number runs vertically down the right side of the frame in front of the grips. The inside of the slide has the matching last three digits of the serial number. The pistol is fitted with the correct wartime two-piece black plastic checkered grips that have the Walther banner at the top of each grip. It is complete with one Walther marked magazine with the black plastic finger extension on the bottom.
