Matching serial numbers including the magazine. "Eagle/63" acceptance stamps and the type 3 "Test Proof" on the right side of the barrel extension, with the test proof repeated on the same side of the barrel. The 42 Code 1939 Lugers were the first to use the new 3rd type test proof. This pistol has British proofs on the underside of the barrel "9m/m .752"/13 Tons Per Square Inch" and "Crown/BNP" markings on the bottom of the barrel, left side receiver rail and receiver, and on top of the bolt. This pistol has the standard "GELADEN" extractor marking and "GESICHERT" marking on the toggle housing safety area.
