Produced up to WWII as a substitute arm for the 1911/1911A1 pistol. Fixed front and notch rear sights, with the standard one line caliber marking, "UNITED STATES PROPERTY", and two line address/patents on the pinned barrel. Five-screw frame, with the "flaming bomb" on the left side, and the standard Army markings on the butt with the lanyard swivel. Smooth grips.
