Blade front and fine adjust tangent rear sights, "1917" date on the chamber and "DWM" monogram on the toggle link. Three "crown/ letter" proofs are present on the right side of the barrel extension, with Imperial Eagle firing proofs on the extension, barrel and breechblock. Full serial number with "d" suffix on barrel and frame and full serial number without the suffix on the barrel extension. Matching partial numbers on takedown latch, side plate, sear, safety bar, thumb safety, extractor, toggle and toggle link. Properly marked safety position and extractor. Fitted with checkered red 9 grips, with straw colored small parts and an unmarked wood base magazine. Complete with a leather holster, takedown tool, cleaning rod, and wooden stock with attaching iron numbered "2691a". The inside of the holster flap is dated 1917 along with an illegible maker's marking (no shoulder straps). The stock has a crown/script proof.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 95% original blue finish with some minor thinning and some loss at the muzzle. The small parts retain 75% original straw finish. The grips are very fine with some minor nicks (mostly on the right panel) in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is very good with some minor handling marks and flex wear, with an area of minor gouges. The takedown tool pouch is handmarked "KP". The stock is fine with numerous minor dings and scratches.
