Excellent. The barrel retains 90% plus original finish with wear limited to the muzzle end from mounting and removing a bayonet, and a small amount of scattered surface rust. The lock and hammer retain approximately 95% original finish. The breechblock is excellent plus and retains almost all of the vivid bright case colors. The stock is excellent with some overall scattered minor dents and dings. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
