Excellent U.S. Remington Arms Model 720 Bolt Action Trophy Rifle
Produced circa 1941-1942, the Model 720 rifle was used by the military as a trophy item for shooting competitions. Ramp bead front and semi-buckhorn sporting rear sights, with the two line address on top of the barrel between the sights, the 2-line caliber marking on the left side of the breech and small commercial inspection marks on the right. Model and makers marks on the receiver, which is drilled and tapped on top and on the right, with a 1917 style safety. Checkered pistol grip stock, with sling swivels, crossed cannon and Atwood "FJA" stamps on the left side of the buttstock and a checkered steel buttplate.

Condition: Excellent, with 97% of the original blue finish, showing light dings and handling marks overall, concentrated around the rear sight base and the top of the receiver. Stock is excellent, with mild dings and pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
