Gauge: 45 long Colt
Finish: blue
Grips: hard rubber
Serial Number: 47072

Excellent, with 97% plus original blue finish, showing some mild edge wear and a brown patina on the backstrap, along with scattered traces of brown on the other parts. A brown and gray patina is starting to form on the front of the trigger and rear of the hammer, which otherwise show an attractive, vivid niter blue. Grips are near excellent, with exception of a small repair visible on the right side above the screw and some minor pressure dents. Fails to hold a full cock in single action operation, but is mechanically excellent in double action operation. A top quality example of a historically important military sidearm.
