One of only approximately 7100 produced, this is a very scarce pre-War 1904 model Large "Papa" Nambu pistol. Produced by the Tokyo Gas and Electric Company under Navy contract, with the "GTE" marking on the chamber, an anchor proof on the right side of the frame next to the model markings and serial number and a pair of Kanji markings on the left side. Fitted with fixed front and tangent rear sights, knurled cocking knob, grip safety on the front strap, lanyard swivel, checkered contoured grips and nickel magazine with checkered aluminum base. Matching numbers on the frame, bolt, cocking knob and the grips. With a brown leather clamshell holster with shoulder strap and cleaning rod.

Condition: Excellent, with 95% of the original blue finish, showing mild wear along the high edges, a few patches of pitting on the left side of the frame and muzzle, brown patina forming on the grip straps and scattered handling marks. Grips are also excellent, with sharp checkering. Holster is very fine, with mild scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
