Excellent Swiss Model 1929 Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol
This is an excellent example of a Swiss Model 1929 Luger Pistol that was manufactured by Waffenfabrik Bern for military and commercial sale in Switzerland. The pistol has the distinctive straight front grip strap, smooth toggle knobs, magazine release, lock bolt, thumb safety lever and grip safety and is fitted with desirable checkered red plastic grips (and matching red magazine bottom). Rust blue finish with blued small parts and plated magazine with a red plastic bottom with a small Geneva Cross stamped on the right side. The front toggle link is stamped with the Geneva Cross in a shield. "S" is stamped in the upper safety lever position. The left side of the ejector is marked "GELADEN". The full matching serial number is located on the left side of the frame, the barrel shoulder and the top of the rear toggle link. The Swiss "Bernerprobe" proofmark is stamped on the barrel shoulder next to the serial number. The Geneva Cross proofmark is stamped on the underside of the barrel. A "+/M" is stamped on the left side of the frame in front of the serial number. . A "P" is stamped on the front of the trigger guard bow. A "WF+" monogram is stamped on the rear of the frame below the toggle lock.

Condition: Excellent plus. The pistol retains 99% of the original matte blue finish with some slight muzzle and high edge wear and some thinning on the grip safety. The grips are as new. Sharp markings. Mechanically excellent.
