Excellent Smith & Wesson Model of 1913 Semi-Automatic Pistol with Factory Letter
The included Smith & Wesson factory letter states that this pistol, serial number 8091, was shipped from the factory on December 20, 1920 and delivered to Edwards & Walker Company, Portland, Maine. The letter also gives a brief history of the .35 Automatic Pistol. The pistol has fixed sights, grip safety, and smooth walnut grips with S&W medallions. The top of the receiver is marked with the three line address/patent information, serial number on the front grip strap, "SMITH & WESSON" on the left barrel side, and the one line caliber marking on the right side of the barrel.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 97% original blue finish with some minor thinning on the grip straps and some mild muzzle wear with an area of flaking on the right side. The grips are fine with numerous minor handling marks (more prevalent on the right panel).
