Excellent Scarce Smith & Wesson 35 Semi-Automatic Pistol
Manufactured from 1913 to 1921 with a total production of 8,350, this was Smith & Wesson's first attempt of a semi-automatic pistol. There are two safety devices on the pistol, a revolving cam on the backstrap and a grip safety on the front strap. The top of the frame is marked with the three line address/patent dates flanked by Maltese crosses, the left side of the barrel is marked "35 S&W AUTO CTG." and the left rear of the frame is marked with the S&W Trademark logo. Blade front and frame notch rear sights, seven round detachable magazine and fitted with smooth walnut grips with inlaid S&W medallions.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 99% original finish with some wear on the sides of the barrel near the muzzle, a few minor scratches and a small amount of mild spotting on the top of the frame. The grips are very good with almost all of the original finish and some scattered minor dents and scratches. The markings remain crisp and clear. The mechanics are excellent.
