Excellent Scarce 9 m/m DWM Model 1906 American Eagle Luger Pistol
This is an excellent example of a scarce 9 m/m Model 1906 Commercial Luger with the distinctive "American Eagle" crest on the chamber. Directly under the frame serial number it is marked "GERMANY" and it is fitted with a nickel plated magazine with wooden base marked "Cal 9m/m" on the bottom. The complete serial number is located on the frame and the bottom of the barrel and the partial serial number, "80" is marked on the takedown, side plate and below the rear sight. Standard blade front and fixed notch rear sights. Polished lower safety position and "LOADED" marked extractor. Grips are checkered walnut. Only about 3,000 of these pistols were made for commercial sale in the U.S.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 97% original finish with some mild muzzle and barrel extension wear, some minor wear on the frame rails and side plate and minor handling marks. Half of the partially restored straw color remains on the small parts, with the heaviest wear on the takedown lever. The grips are excellent with a few minor dings and sharp checkering. The markings remain crisp and clear. The mechanics are excellent.
