Excellent Pre-War Mauser Standard Model Bolt Action Rifle with Bayonet
Developed in 1933, the Standard Model was the final commercial configuration issued by the pre-War Mauser factory. Blade and tangent sights, with the Mauser banner on top of the receiver ring, "crown/ letter" proofs on the left side, and "STANDARD-MODELL " on the sidewall. Milled components, with matching numbers on the bolt, floor plate and trigger guard. Smooth straight grip stock with a flat buttplate. With a brown leather sling and a bayonet, 9 7/8" unmarked blade, "6006" and "P.R.8." on the guard, smooth wood grips and metal sheath.

Condition: Excellent with 98% plus original blue on the receiver and bolt, a small amount of pitting near the muzzle, a brown spot on the barrel band and mild handling marks overall. Stock is excellent, with some light scratches and pressure dents. Bayonet is excellent, with some mild spotting. Mechanically excellent.
