Excellent Pre-War Colt Government Model Semi-Automatic Pistol
Produced in 1930. Blade front and square notch rear sights on slide with the two line address and patent dates on the left side, "COLT/ AUTOMATIC/ CALIBRE.45" on the right next to the Rampant Colt, and a matching serial number underneath the firing pin stop. Standard markings on the right side of the frame, with "60" on the right side of the trigger guard and "1/ VP" on the reverse. Wide checkered hammer, short milled trigger, long grip safety and checkered slide stop, thumb safety, and arched mainspring housing with lanyard ring. Grips are checkered walnut, with an unmarked two-tone magazine.

Excellent, with approximately 95-97% of the original blue finish, showing a bright gray patina on the high edges and the front sides of the slide, light scratches and dents concentrated around the slide catch and ahead of the rear sight, a brown patina forming on the front strap, mild pitting on the backstrap and dull gray on the grip safety. Grips are very fine, with light pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
