Excellent Pre-War Colt Frontier Six Shooter Single Action Army Revolver
Manufactured in 1926. Blade front sight with a gold sighting insert and fixed rear sight, with the top of the barrel marked with the one line Hartford address and roll stamped Frontier Six Shooter marking on the left. The frame is marked with the two line, three date patent markings followed by the un-circled Rampant Colt, "3/ VP" on the left side of the trigger guard, "17" on the rear cylinder face and "664" on the loading gate. Matching numbers on the frame, grip straps and the insides of the checkered Rampant Colt grips.

Condition: Excellent, with 95% of the original blue finish. A gray patina is visible on the muzzle, the left side of the barrel, and in areas of the cylinder and grip straps, along with some mild edge wear and handling marks overall. The front sight insert was added at an unknown point. Over 90% of the original case colors remain bright and vivid on the frame and hammer, with a smooth gray and brown color forming on the high areas. Some tiny dings are visible on the front of the frame. Grips are very good, with some mild pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
