Excellent Mauser  S/ 42  Code 1936 Production Luger Pistol with Two Matching Magazines and 1936 Hols
Fixed sights, with "1936" on the chamber and "S/42" on the breechblock. "Eagle/ 63" proofs are present on the barrel and extension, with firing proofs on the extension, barrel and breechblock. Matching numbers on the barrel, extension, frame, latch, side plate, trigger, sear, safety, hold-open, toggle pin, toggle links, extractor, breechblock and firing pin. Standard safety and extractor markings, with checkered grips and nickel magazine with matching numbered alloy base. With a black leather flap holster, marked "RYFFEL & BORNS/ HANNOVER/ 1936/ eagle/ WaA216" on the back, with a takedown tool and extra matching magazine. Included with the pistol is a set of capture and retention papers from 1945, made out to a Sgt. Alex Kutnyak Jr, for this pistol and a Zeiss camera.

Condition: Excellent, with 95% plus of the bright original blue finish, showing holster edge wear, a few areas of gray patina and scattered mild handling marks. Grips are excellent. Straw colors and niter blue are both strong and bright with 80% remaining. Holster is very good, with mild scuffing. Mechanically excellent.
