Excellent Johnson Automatics Model of 1941 Semi-Automatic Rifle
Produced in the early 1940s for Denmark and the United States Marine Corps, the latter using the arm at the start of the Pacific Campaign. Blade front and adjustable 1000 meter rear sight, with a "41" dated barrel flange, five line model and five line patent markings on top of the receiver, and a five-pointed star and "CRANSTON/ ARMS/ CO." in a triangle on the right side below the rear sight. Smooth two-piece walnut pistol grip stock, unmarked, with a brown leather sling and a checkered butt.

Condition: Excellent, with 98% plus of the original parkerized finish, showing a bright spot on the underside of the barrel and scattered light handling marks. Stock is excellent, with a few small chips around the magazine, light scratches and some pressure dents. Sling shows some light wrinkles and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
