Very early example as produced in December 1934, with the "9.12" Showa date on the right side of the frame below the Kokura Arsenal marking and serial number. Nicely machined and blue parts with straw finished safety and trigger, with matching numbers on the trigger, bolt and knurled and grooved cocking knob. Standard fixed sights with the light mahogany ribbed hardwood grips. With a brown leather clamshell holster and a spare firing pin.
BBL: 4 5/8 inch round
Stock:
Gauge: 8 mm Nambu
Finish: blue
Grips: Mahogany
Serial Number: 30493
Condition: Excellent with 98% of the original blue finish, showing a line of wear from the safety and minor handling marks overall. Grips are excellent, with a dent from the safety and a tiny spot of verdigris on the left panel. Both of the firing pins are unnumbered. Holster is excellent, with minor scuffing and tight stitching. Mechanically excellent.
