Excellent J.P. Sauer Model 1913 Prussian State Police Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster
Fixed sights, slide lock inside trigger guard, and Sauer address atop slide in front of the Suhl knight. Left side of slide marked "PATENT" and the right side marked "CAL. 7.65". "Crown/N" proof on rear of cocking knob, right side of frame and barrel. The front grip strap has a Prussian State Police marking: "L.Mg.269" (Landjagerei Magdebrug Gun No. 269). S&S logo in oval at top of checkered grips. Comes with two magazines numbered to the gun. Complete with a brown leather holster with "ROBERT LARSEN / BERLIN / SW/68 / 1939" stamped on front, the gun serial number (85041) stamped on the back, and a three line U.S. GI inscription on the inside of the flap ("Clinton L. Gerry / 31472296 / Co F 67th Arm'd Reg").

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 95% original blue finish with some smooth gray patina on the grip straps and trigger guard, some minor edge wear and some loss/wear on the sides of the slide. The grips are also excellent with some scattered light handling marks. Overall the checkering is crisp. The holster is fine with some minor handling marks and flex wear. The stitching is tight.
