Excellent Introductory Year Production Colt Single Action Army Second Generation Revolver with Black
Produced in 1956, the first year for the Second Generation Single Action Army. Fixed blade front sight with single line address on top of barrel and "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45" along the left side. Vivid casehardened colors on frame with three patent dates (1871, 1872, and 1875) on left side next to the Rampant Colt. Assembly number "636" on loading gate and frame. Checkered black hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt logos, numbered to match the gun. With a Colt black box, numbered to another gun, with papers.

Condition: Excellent, with 99% of the original blue finish, showing light scratches on the underside of the barrel, scattered handling marks and mild high edge wear. Case colors are bright and vivid, with a set of small dents on the recoil shield. Grips are excellent, with sharp checkering. Box is good, with edge wear and a few torn corners. Mechanically excellent.
